Introducción Los faraones Tutmosis III y Ramsés III, entre otros, embellecieron el templo de Osiris y algunos de ellos tuvieron allí su cenotafio. El templo de Seti I, uno de los más hermosos, ha contribuido a descifrar la historia egipcia: en una larga galería al interior del templo existe un relieve conocido como las tablas de Abidos. En él se representa a Seti II y a su hijo Ramsés, presentando ofrendas a las figuras de 76 antepasados.
