Geografía El Peloponeso se ha convertido en una isla desde que el canal de Corinto corta su istmo. Está constituido por los nomós (departamento) de Argólida, Corinto, Arcadia, Acaya, Laconia y Mesenia; el de Élida, pasó a la región de Grecia Occidental. 21.549 km2. 605.663 habitantes (2005).
